Letter to Marie Newman
( This letter is in response to Marie Newman's Letter to the Editor post in Des Plaines Valley News, 11/12/2020) Marie Newman, I find your November 12th Letter to the Editor, in which you call on Americans to heal, to be disgustingly hypocritical. This is because you have chosen, like all other politicians of the Democratic Party, to take a swipe at president Trump. Honestly, is that the best you can do in your letter? Very weak. You said that we need to come together as Americans, yet you do not take the time to understand why 70 million Americans, roughly half of all voters, voted for this man. Your comments did anything but for America to heal. Instead, your comments can only serve to bring Americans further apart. Actually, I am not too surprised by this letter of yours, considering how you campaigned against Representative Lipinski.
