30 things you can't say in the African-American community


 

1.      Rights without responsibility are poison.

2.      Pride without responsibility is poison.

3.      The schools will not raise your children. You must.

4.      Discipline is not just a whipping. It is talking, listening, and understanding.

5.      If you don’t discipline your children, don’t cry when they are dead.

6.      Black Live Matter organization does not care about Black lives unless they are taken by cops or Whites.

7.      If you ignore or downplay neighborhood shootings but are only angry about cops and what some Whites do to us , Black lives don’t truly matter to you.

8.      If you are pro-choice, Black lives don’t matter to you.

9.      Rioting and looting for justice creates more injustice and intolerance.

10.   Read books—and not cheap sex novels. Read about our history and about dignity and self-motivation.

11.   Turn off the television.

12.   Turn off the gangsta rap.

13.   Turn off the pornographic R&B.

14.   You don’t need bling or phat shoes and clothes if you can’t save money.

15.   You don’t need cable or expensive gadgets if you can’t save money.

16.   Pull up your pants.

17.   Stop showing so much skin.

18.   Take out the weave, take off the wig, and lose the fake lashes. You are beautiful without them.

19.   Sex outside of marriage is a sin.

20.    Sleeping with someone who is still legally married is adultery--a sin.

21.   You can’t be a Christian and believe in astrology.

22.   Believing in zodiacs is a sin.

23.   If you converted to Islam because you think Christianity is the slave master’s religion, you obviously don’t know that Arab Muslims enslaved Africans for 500 years before the European Christian. 

24.   The “White Man” cannot control your destiny.

25.   The Democratic Party doesn’t really care about you. They just want you to be dependent slaves.

26.   Don’t vote for someone just because they are Black. Blacks sold Blacks to slave traders. Blacks betray other Blacks. Blacks kill Blacks.

27.   Colorism is no different than racism.

28.   Don’t disrespect someone for doing better than you.

29.   If you know proper English, speak it.

30.   Give to your family and friends as much as you take.
