COVID-19 Lockdown, Day 31
What started as a decent day went gradually downhill. The highlight of the day, ironically speaking, was when someone I sent a post of this blog to did not like my opinions and deemed them unsolicited. Instead of telling me directly, they complained to a third party who then accused me of using a public email group meant for something unrelated. I cannot give more details than this regrettably.
These two issues are in the Top 5 of my pet peeve list because I cannot abide people talking about be behind closed doors, and I absolutely hate being accused falsely, especially on hearsay. It is an insult to my honor. We are supposed to be better than this. We are all adults and all involved parties are supposed to be Christians.
I thought that the isolation and loneliness most of us feel would teach us how to treat each other. I don't bite, and I am not made of glass. If a person does not care to hear my opinions, they should be adults and tell me to my proverbial face. In fact, if anyone who received this from me does not want to read my posts anymore, please tell me, and I will remove you from the list. I will be disappointed and a little sad, but I will remove you. As for accusing me of using something public for my not-so-public endeavors without proof is not just wrong; it is demeaning. We need to be better than this.
For those who don't know, I am supposed to turn 40 this year. I have sacrificed my 20's and my 30's bearing abuse and denigration with patience. No more. From now on, if anyone attacks my honor, I will not hesitate to protect and restore it. I will no longer tolerate disrespect from anyone if I can help it. I can forgive a person who stabs me, but if I see a knife aimed at my heart, I will struggle as hard as I can to neutralize the danger. I am a good person, I am good to others, and I deserve to be treated with goodness. If anyone cannot treat me as well as I deserve to be treated, they should practice some social distancing around me--even when the pandemic ends.
--Signing off.

I am very sad that this happened to you. 😿 This blog should be your safe place to express what is on your mind without judgement. I enjoy reading your blog each day. :-) If people don't like reading it, they should keep their negative comments to theirselves instead of hurting you for speaking your mind.
