COVID-19 Lockdown, Day 202
This has not been the best week. First, I had to argue with health-based providers about them not doing their job. Then, on Friday, my morning started, among other unpleasant things, with me approaching my car to see that someone hit it the night before, and I did not see a note.
Look at my poor car! The person's light obviously broke, and they didn't bother to clean it up. Because of the dent in the bumper cover, it is hard to open and close the hatch. Thankfully, my next door neighbor admitted that her sister slammed into it, but that she left a note. Well, either someone removed it or the wind blew it away. Or, perhaps she is lying. I had to talk to my neighbor's husband to get her phone number because the woman was supposed to call me but didn't. Now, she is taking her sweet time to give me her insurance information. She said that she is going through hard times, but so am I. Wrecking my car does not help. I am prepared to be a thorn in her side until I get her information; I am not playing with her. She doesn't even live in the building! I let my landlord know about what happened, and he said exactly what I knew he would say: nothing. When I need a repair or something like that, he will not reply. Even when I keep bugging him. If I don't give him my rent, I bet he will speak up then. If it were not for the fact that we like our apartment and the rent is fair, I would have more to say. But still, where is his pride?Another thing: I went to my doctor to get a flu shot, but they are out! So soon? I know that people are not hesitating to get their shot, but I am one of the people who is supposed to get the shot. On top of that, Symbicort finally has a generic, and I had gotten a script for it, but my insurance won't bloody cover it! A cheaper medication, and they won't cover it?! That is ludicrous! I wrote to them to demand that they explain why they will not cover the generic. They had better have a good reason, too.
And now, that swine that killed George Floyd was released on $1 million bail and is allowed to leave Minnesota "for his safety." Of course, people are rioting over it again. After all that has happened, and they give him bail and let him leave the state? What criminal accused of murder is allowed to leave the state? Wherever he goes, however, he has a mark of his head, and his life will not be worth jack.
I can't wait for this stupid year to be over.
--Signing off.
