COVID-19 Lockdown, Day 244

Hello Friends,

So, I have good news, aggravating news, and a question.

First the question, and I see that 24 people, on average, read my blog, so I would like at least 10 responses--preferably in the comments box. Should I end this blog after the New Year, or should I continue until the USDA approves a vaccine?

That leads me to the good news. Pfizer came out with a vaccine this week that is 95% effective. Halleluyah! People are already talking about WHEN they will start giving the vaccine to others. I made the mistake this week of listening to the news. Within a few minutes, my chest became tight, my stomach felt as it someone punched it, and I struggled to breathe. Now Illinois has officially been moved down to Tier 3, and schools are completely virtual again. This news about Pfizer was truly a lifeboat, and if anyone tries to stop me from luxuriating in it, let them be anathema. Well, not really.

Now the aggravating news. I went to a Walmart close to my mother's house to pick up a cake since it was her birthday, only to see a security guard in her car telling everyone that the store was closed. I told my mother what happened and asked when they would reopen and why they closed. She said that the store was closed for good. As it turns out this location was hit by the rioters and looters. They stormed into the Walmart and stole goods, trashing the place in the process. My mother's scripts were at that location, and so she had to find another place further away to fill her prescriptions.

(Before I continue, I must warn you that you are about to read and hear some bad words, especially the N-word, which I never use casually, but is necessary for this post. Discretion is advised.)

I just read, a few minutes ago, a post that both stores hit in Chicago reopened yesterday, which is good. Still, after the loss they suffered from the damage and stolen goods, Walmart would be well in their rights to say "Forget these niggers," and reopen in an area where people handle their anger more civilly. What these animals don't understand or care is that savage behavior has equally savage consequences. Does anyone know why the Southside has food deserts? Is it because since the Riots of 1968, large markets did not want to risk opening in Black neighborhoods? Not necessarily because they believed in our supposed inferiority but because they don't want to get burned down in a riot. Shoot, some Black entrepreneurs don't want to open in some Black neighborhoods, knowing that they may not be spared in a riot or when a crackhead needs money for another fix. That's why I was relieved that my favorite cafe in Bronzeville, Sip and Savor, was unharmed. These thugs don't care that their hooliganism hurts our people within and without. Destroying our own communities in anger causes us to go without so many things. Black employees lose their jobs. We lose dignity and economic strength. We must then make other communities richer with our dollars. More than that, we create and expose ourselves to more discrimination. Be might have the police called on us just for driving into an "exclusive" area to shop because some Becky or Dave may think we are going to start trouble. Plus, any momentum for change from peaceful protests will be lost. Yes, there were White rioters, and yes, some of the riots started  because of White supremacists, but it is still our faces coming out of looted stores. It is our faces setting fires and harassing random people.

That's why, when I hear about riots and flash mobs, I quickly think of this vulgar, yet insightful skit from Christ Rock:

More than that, it makes me think of the book "The Un-Civil War: Blacks vs Niggers" by Taleeb Starkes. Like Chris Rock, he says that there are Blacks and niggers in each African-American neighborhood. Starkes, however, says that there is a third category: Blacks with nigger tendencies (WNT). For instance, niggers loot and riot. They burn and step on the American flag. Blacks join or support peaceful protests and decry the riots, recognizing the dangerous consequences thereof. Blacks WNT, however, get angry when someone decries the riots, saying that people need to understand the rioters and looters and how angry they are. They are very confrontational, especially with Euro-Americans, and they are probably card-carrying members of BLM. At the wrong places and times, they can become niggers. Well, I say, it is high time to strengthen and encourage Black people, enlighten Blacks WNT, and put all niggers in prison until they get MLK, Malcolm X, Booker T. Washington, WEB DuBois, and even Marcus Garvey in their hearts and their brains. These were strong brothers who taught strength and dignity--virtues that cannot be attained by looting or stealing.

Signing off.

  1. The Banker guess is the default possibility so 카지노사이트 much of} gamers. While some perceive its significance, others have come to adopt it by way of folklore, believing that one sort of guess is simply better than anotherwithout understanding the explanation behind it. Well, in the case of the Banker guess, this “gambler’s fallacy” is definitely very true. There are normally three forms of bets, the Bankerand the Player, and a third possibility, the Tie.
