COVID-19 Lockdown, Day 293

 This was not a very good week. First, the good old boy of a District Attorney, Michael Gravely, decided not to pursue criminal charges against the cops who shot Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Yes, this is the same incident that caused the rioting and the shooting of rioters last summer. Yes, Blake had a warrant for his arrest, and yes, he was probably resisting arrest, and while Officer Rustin Sheskey possibly does not have any racial bias, many of us are compelled to ask the question once more: What if Blake were White? We have seen too many cases in which perps of European descent resist arrest and commit exceedingly violent crimes, even with guns, and they are brought to jail unscathed--no matter how aggressive they are. Heck, let's not forget Dylan Roof--the White supremacist who shot at congregants at Emanuel AME Church--killing nine of them--even a nonagenarian woman. By the time he was booked at the local jail, he had no bruises on his face. He was even given dinner from Burger King--courtesy of the Charleston Police Department. 

If you have gotten to know the names chanted by protestors, you will see that almost none of them were a danger to the public--at least not a danger greater than professional police work can manage. As for Blake, even though he had a knife, why did Sheskey shoot at his back seven times--four of those bullets shooting and paralyzing him--with his children watching? Thanks to the media, and some rappers, Black men are being considered brutally aggressive gorillas. We are often thought of as having exceptionally thick skin, justifying excessive brutality against us. In the 1975 movie Mandingo, Hammond Maxwell tells his father that he must whip a slave for reading to save him from being maimed. His father told him, "Whup him fierce. Hammond, you got to cut deep, because a n****r don't feel physical pain as soon as a White man."  Some things never change, I suppose. For those who do not know, melanin does not make our literal or proverbial skin any tougher than yours. Even though we do not blush or bruise as visibly, we do so nonetheless. Those who use excessive force against us do so because they either believe the lies, forgot their training, or wear white sheets under the uniforms. Yes, there are times when Black perps who are actually dangerous, like those rooftop shooters 15 years ago, are detained without excessive force, and those of European heritage are brutilized or killed, like Justine Damond, but there are just too many cases of excessive force throughout this country against men of color. It reminds me of the folk song I wrote about Laquan McDonald. This is the first disappointment of the year. 

Returning to the Blake case, I hope those rioting animals can see that their violence and destructions did NOTHING to improve the lot of the Black man. Not a damned thing. All it did is make people hate us more. As for the Black Lives Matter movement, all they have done is make people angry for their rights, but they don't do jack about our responsibilities. Instead, these chocolate-covered "pride" flag waving leaders would rather dismantle the Black family--our strength. I have outlined their views in a previous blog, but these leaders pretend to care about protecting Black lives, but deep down, they want to emasculate the Black man in order to empower the Black woman. They want to dismantle the traditional, nuclear family because any families they choose to create are anything but traditional and nuclear. They want to over-emphasize trans, homosexual, and "queer" leadership and activity because they know that nearly all brothers and sisters will not support their lifestyles. As I have said before, my people are only leftist when it comes to economics and racial issues. Still, they vote for leftist politicians because they are better at pretending that they really care about us. I had a brief conversation with a nice and intelligent woman last week who said that she supports Black Lives Matter as a philosophy and as an organization. Perhaps someone can enlighten me because I cannot understand how a Bible-believing, family-supporting, God-fearing, intelligent person who supports strong Black men can, in her heart, support an organization that attacks most of her values. But then, I can say that about those of my heritage who will only vote for Democrats. Just saying. Besides, where is BLM when Blacks are killing other Blacks on the Southside of Chicago? Unless a casualty were LGBTETC, absolutely nowhere to be found! Black Lives Matter, indeed. 

Second, there was a riot in Washington, DC, in which pro-Trump supporters (alleged) stormed the Capitol building and created damage and chaos. This is because the President has refused to concede, insisting that there is election fraud afoot. The irony is, the Democrats said the same about him 4 years ago. (Those naughty Russians...got to love them!) While nearly everyone has openly decried the riot, people have responded differently. Some called it a siege, some called it domestic terrorism, some say that the rioters were actually Antifa (which is probably true), and some have expressed anger that these rioters, nearly all of the Caucasian persuasion, are reportedly being treated much better than the rioters and looters last summer.  Then there are leftists who call this an assault on the Constitution. They need to put down those cannabis-laced soy chai lattes! Yes, this mob action is an affront to the Constitution, but they have no right to talk since they have been assaulting the Constitution, especially the Bill of Rights, for the past 20 years! The only part of the riot that did not upset me was when Pelosi the Shrew's office was vandalized. Forgive me, but I am disappointed he did not do more damage!

And now, in the name of the Constitution, the leftists will undermine the Constitution even more! First, Twitter suspended the President's account for reportedly inciting a riot. His posts, inappropriate as they may be, protested election fraud and bias against him and his supporters. Nowhere did I read or hear him say that people should attack the Capitol! He did not praise them for their violence. He instead made a statement against it and told them to go home. They are suspending his account for how people may receive his messages. Since when is one person responsible for how people may perceive his messages? And while Trump's antics may have encouraged these people, that riot at the capitol building was going to happen, no matter what. The racial violence and hate crimes across the country were going to happen--especially because of the political correctness run amok under Obama's regime. Just look at Pelosi's preoccupation with pronouns earlier this week. The transgendered and the "queer" comprise less that 1% of the population, yet their lifestyle choices must dictate the words and actions of everyone else? How fascist. As for the Twitter account, that is just one of a few blows against freedom this week. 

Then the leftists turned to Parler: the conservative's and freedom-lovers' answer to Twitter. Since Parler stands by its promise to protect free speech, Apple and Google are dropping Parler from their app stores. If that were bad enough, by Sunday, 1/10/21 at midnight, Amazon will shut down their server. This is not only violating freedom of speech, but it is economic hegemony. Another reason to stay away from corporations when you can help it. So, I have already suspended my Amazon Prime account, and I let those fascists know why. If you believe in freedom, I urge you to free yourselves of Amazon as well.  We must stand up to bullies, my friends. Yes, Big Tech is one of the biggest threats to freedom so far, but we must put our foot down. Yes, it is possible that this blog, powered by Google, may get shut down if someone decides my opinions are offensive. If so, I will go elsewhere. I will not stand by and let this country turn into China or Sweden, where people are arrested just for voicing unpopular opinions. This is still America!

Well, 2021 is only 9 days old, and I am not impressed.
