COVID-19 Lockdown, Day 300
Three hundred days. Wow. For those who have been reading all this time, you have my humble thanks.
Well, I had gotten my first vaccination last Tuesday. My agency worked together with the city, and they made sure that we were among the first. It was just like any other vaccination, only I must go back in 3 weeks for a booster. Thankfully, it was from Pfizer--so it is the most effective. Plus, it does not have any cells from murdered unborn children.
So, I learned a few things from taking this vaccine. First, until we hear otherwise, yes, I must wear these stupid rags over my face a spell longer. This is because, while there is only a 5% chance I could catch the virus after my booster shot, when I am fully vaccinated, there is a chance that I could still carry the virus and infect someone else. Second, while most vaccines include dead or devenomized viruses, this one use takes "spike proteins" from the virus and introduces them to our cells. The proteins do not have the actual virus but the parts of the viruses' cells that trigger the virus to attack the body. As a result, the body's antibodies have the DNA of the virus and can drive it away in case of an attempted invasion (sounds like military action, does it not?).We just need to hang in there a little longer.
As for other news, Amazon carried out their threat against Parler and turned off the servers, so Parler is now offline. Amazon even blacklisted Parler so that other webhosts would not take their business. In return, the CEO of Parler sued Amazon, and now he and his family must go into hiding because of the "open-minded" leftists who threatened them. As I have also threatened, I cancelled my Amazon Prime account, and I contacted storefronts that I buy from regularly (or intended to) to see how I can buy from them independent of Amazon. One person said that their only storefront was with Amazon. Well, I am advising all freedom-lovers with storefronts on Amazon to shut them down posthaste. Maybe Amazon has the right to do what they want with their own servers, but if they had a contract with Parler, they had no right to break it and to especially intimidate other webhosts. I expressed my outrage this week against Big Tech using their own platforms: Change.org and YouTube. Please click on the respective links to sign the petition to reinstate Parler and to express my frustration at Big Tech trying to undercut the First Amendment.
Finally, I have a little public service announcement, and you can like it or lump it. For those who have been critics against President Trump, calling him the "idiot in the White House" or saying "He's not MY President", allow me to say that, when Biden takes that oath of office on Wednesday next, don't complain and be bitter when the tables turn--because they will. They will (and already have) call Biden and Harris names. I can already see the signs that say, "Biden is not my President." If it makes you angry, well, that's what you get. For those who are about to wave said signs, I will say this: it was not appropriate with Trump, and it will not be appropriate with Biden. Also, until there is solid evidence of election fraud, Biden is your President. You don't have to like it. It is what it is, so lets pray that he will succeed and uphold the Constitution of this country--something no president has satisfactorily done since Bush II was president. At least practically half of Congress and most of Supreme Court will hold him to task.
